The creator confirms that Anomaly Cafe features original characters, but no creator-controlled public roster currently supplies every name, role, relationship, portrait, and first appearance. This page is therefore a currently documented cast index. It shows how to classify the figures you meet and what evidence is required before turning an observed face or fan label into a named character entry.
Current character scope
Player workers
Role: Serve, maintain, coordinate, and survive.
Name status: Player identity rather than a verified fixed protagonist name.
Evidence: Official gameplay premise.
Original named cast
Role: Designed characters promised by the creator.
Name status: Exact roster not publicly complete.
Evidence: Official broad claim; individual entries need in-game names.
Tutorial or support figures
Role: Explain tasks or guide progression in current builds.
Name status: Community guides report a tutorial figure, but spelling and permanence require live confirmation.
Evidence: Community reported · 2026-08-20.
Customers
Role: Receive service and establish normal cafe behavior.
Name status: Do not assume every customer has a persistent canon identity.
Evidence: Official service premise.
Anomalous figures
Role: Create survival pressure or visual uncertainty.
Name status: Keep separate from original-character canon unless the game explicitly connects them.
Evidence: Official anomaly premise; specifics unresolved.
Emma
Role: Name attached to Emma’s Cafe.
Name status: Setting identity is supported; full biography and relationships are not.
Evidence: Official place and description context.
Verify a character name
Prefer an on-screen nameplate, dialogue speaker label, objective text, credit, creator announcement, or group post tied to the exact Roblox experience. Record spelling, capitalization, role, scene, build date, and the line or interface that identifies the figure. A video thumbnail, tier image, or fan nickname can lead you to a scene but cannot establish canon by itself.
If two community pages repeat the same name without showing independent evidence, treat it as one report rather than corroboration. If the live build spells it differently, use the game’s spelling and preserve the date.
Distinguish role from biography
Seeing a figure teach preparation supports a tutorial role in that scene. It does not prove their history, relationships, or permanent job title. Seeing a character during an anomaly establishes presence, not responsibility. Keep observations narrow until dialogue or creator material connects them.
This prevents attractive fan theories from becoming false instructions. It also makes the index easier to update when alpha scenes change.
Character record fields
A complete entry should include displayed name, type, first verified location, observed role, notable dialogue or action, relationship evidence, version/check date, confidence, and source. Leave portrait, biography, or relationship blank when unsupported. Do not use an image without clear rights simply to fill the card.
Use “Official” for creator statements, “In-game verified” for a dated direct observation, “Community corroborated” for independent current agreement, and “Community reported” for one relevant source. Never call an eleven-image fan tier template an official count.
Follow characters during a shift
Note where the figure appears relative to the current objective, whether all teammates see the same scene, and what action advances it. Do not interrupt a story sequence by changing servers unless progress is already blocked. If the character repeats a line, distinguish a tutorial reminder from new dialogue.
For a spoiler-light run, record names and roles without searching for endings. After completion, compare the sequence with Story and Lore and the spoiler-marked Ending Guide.
Avoid character mix-ups
Do not import characters from the unrelated PC Anomaly Cafe or from Animal Hospital Anomaly, Spuddy’s, Shizuka’s Cafe, or another Roblox experience. Similar art, cafe roles, or anomaly behavior do not establish shared canon. Confirm place 121781732399469 in any gameplay source.
What remains unresolved
The full roster, individual names, portraits, biographies, relationships, playable status, unlocks, event order, and connection between normal and anomalous figures still require current in-game or creator confirmation. The index will remain “currently documented” until those fields can be supported.
That status still answers the important player question: original characters are part of the official game, Emma’s Cafe is the setting, and observed figures should be classified carefully before being named or connected to the story.
