The practical Anomaly Cafe map is the route between jobs, not a permanent screenshot. Emma’s Cafe is a confirmed setting, while exact rooms, station positions, doors, camera coverage, and event paths can change during alpha. Learn the current server by naming functional landmarks and connecting them with a main route, an alternate route, and a safe regroup point.
Mark six functional zones
Find customer intake, preparation, delivery, maintenance, observation, and regroup areas. A zone may contain several stations or share space with another function. Use the live labels and tutorial. Do not import room names from another cafe-anomaly game.
At each zone, identify its entrance, nearest bottleneck, visible task cue, and route to the next job. Then walk from intake to preparation to delivery and back. Repeat once using an alternate path if one exists.
Build a service route
The main service route should minimize crossings. Intake hands off a request, preparation keeps work within its zone, and the runner takes a clear path to the recipient. Completed work returns or clears without blocking players who are moving the other direction.
If a station moves after an update, rebuild the sequence around the live ticket. Preserve the idea of forward flow rather than trying to stand in an obsolete spot. Solo players should favor the shortest route they can scan; groups can use separate outbound and return paths when the room supports it.
Build an emergency route
Choose a route that remains clear when players stop service. It should connect major work zones to the current safe or regroup behavior shown by the game. Because universal safe rooms and counters are not established, do not promise that a particular corner always protects you. The live event feedback decides where to go.
Keep bottlenecks free of abandoned items and idle groups. During a warning, the runner calls any blocked path. Afterward, walk the route before reopening intake.

Use location language that survives updates
Say “intake side,” “preparation route,” “observation point,” or “regroup path.” Add a stable visible feature only when needed. Avoid “over there” and avoid room names that teammates have not learned. A callout should help someone move without seeing your screen.
For a large group, divide zones and assign one player to connect them. For a pair, use service and mobile sides. For solo play, use a loop that returns to one known reference after each delivery.
Observation and camera routes
Current same-game guides and footage report camera-based observation in some builds. If your tutorial exposes it, learn which area each view covers and what it does not show. Compare camera information with direct observation; do not assume a missing camera view means the room is safe or that every visual glitch is an anomaly.
The exact number, location, and function of cameras are not documented as permanent. Record only what the current interface labels and revisit the route after an update.
If you get lost
Stop accepting work and return to the last known functional zone. Read the current objective, follow nearby station labels, and ask a teammate for a functional callout. Do not wander with an active item if you cannot identify its recipient. Clear ownership first, then rebuild the route.
If a door or route is closed, check whether the current task, maintenance state, or event feedback explains it. Do not assume every closure is an anomaly or secret story path.
Recheck after updates
Walk all six zones, test the main and alternate service routes, locate current observation controls, and confirm the regroup plan. Update your team language before starting a large queue. A changed map can invalidate movement advice even when serving steps remain familiar.
